Goals
The goals of the Center for the Study of Charter Schools are:
- Identify and employ conceptual frameworks or models for guiding the development and understanding of asset-based, capacity-building learning environments.
- Conduct research reviews and syntheses informing the development and implementation of asset-based, capacity-building learning activities and environments.
- Engage in research and practice implementation, testing, and validation of educational practices that have optimal positive benefits for students and families participating in charter schools.
- Develop practice guides, based on research syntheses and studies of innovative educational practices that enhance charter school practices, with an emphasis on the characteristics of the practices associated with optimal positive benefits for students and families.
- Implement and evaluate training methods and procedures for promoting the adoption of asset-based, capacity-building educational activities that enhance charter school practices.
- Disseminate and promote utilization of validated practices for implementing innovative asset-based, capacity-building educational charter school practices.
